Demolition of ‘St. Jude’s’, Newtownpark Avenue for Hugh Dorrian Construction. The front wall of the house was retained and the remainder was completely demolished. Also included in this project was a small factory unit facing onto the road behind the house.

Demolition of buildings at ‘Woodview’, Mount Merrion Avenue for Bowen Construction.

 

September 2004 –November 2004

Demolition of buildings to the rear of AIB Rathgar as a nominated contract under Downes Associates Consulting Engineers.

 

September 2004 – December 2004

Demolition of the former Court Hotel, Killiney, Co. Dublin, for Ellen Construction.

Demolition of the former Carr Communications building and adjoining buildings at Booterstown Avenue / Stillorgan Road for PJ Hegarty & Co.

Demolition of the former Xtravision premises and adjoining factory unit on Greenhill’s Road, Tallaght.

 

June 2004 – May 2005

Demolition works at Mount Carmel Hospital for G&T Crampton. This project also included all excavations and sewer works.

 

May 2004 – January 2005

Demolition of buildings at 35 Barrow Street for Michael McNamara & Co. This project involved the demolition of buildings within the Treasury Holdings premises while the office remained in business. The project also included the excavation and removal of 3000m2 of soils.

 

April 2004 – July 2004

Demolition of buildings at 43-44 Hill Street for Walsh Maguire & Co. The buildings to be demolished were ‘landlocked’ and all of the perimeter demolition overlooked adjoining properties. This perimeter demolition was carried out by hand with the project being completed without incident. Following the demolition continuing plant hire was used to attend archaeological excavation.

 

March 2004 – June 2004

Demolition of buildings at Convent Place (behind Leeson Street) for John G BURNS Construction. This contract included underpinning the adjoining premises and erecting temporary steel work followed by excavation to basement level.

 

March 2004 – April 2004

Demolition of buildings within the King’s Hospital School Complex during the school year. This work was carried out as a nominated sub-contract directly for the school.

Demolition of the former O’Meara’s Camping premises on Bridgefoot Street.

 

February 2004 – April 2004

Demolition of a disused lift shaft within Clerys of O’Connell Street along with the demolition of a concrete roof and load supporting walls. This project included the design and installation a temporary support system and the work was carried out while the store remained trading. We were a nominated sub-contractor working for Newman Construction.

 

February 2004 – March 2004

Demolition of a block of local authority flats on Bridgefoot Street . This project involved the use of the high reach muncher.

 

January 2004 – May 2004

Demolition of the former Butlers Chocolate Factory at Sir John Rogerson’s Quay, Dublin 1 for TBD Builders. Also included in this project were attendances on the piling contractor.

 

January 2004 – December 2004

Demolition of 116-117 Cork Street, Installation of temporary works to number 115 Cork Street, underpinning to the perimeter of the site including the installation of steel propping and bulk excavation. This project was carried out for Curraghbeg Limited and involved a number of site visits.
