Comply
with the Regulations and co-operate in carrying out these
Regulations.
Be
responsible for their own safety, and for the safety of others
through their actions or omissions.
Accept
direction from site management, and other more experienced
co-workers in the matter of safety, health and welfare. Any
employee who does not accept direction will be asked to leave
the site.
Be
vigilant for defects in plant or equipment and if that person
discovers any defect in plant or equipment to which the Regulations
apply, and which might endanger safety, health and welfare,
to report such defect without unreasonable delay to Demolition
Master.
Make
proper use of any safety helmet, harness or any other personal
protective equipment provided for that persons health and
safety.
Make
correct use of tools, machinery, apparatus, dangerous substances,
transport equipment and other means of production, and in
cases where an employee is provided with personal protective
equipment to:
- make full and proper use of such equipment
- use such equipment in accordance with the instructions given
- take all reasonable steps to ensure that equipment is returned
to storage after use.
Employees
must be free from the effects of alcohol, drugs or any other
chemical or hallucinatory substance at all times and if found
to be intoxicated by any of the above will be asked to cease
work immediately and leave the site.
If
an employee is in any doubt about compliance with Regulations
they must stop work immediately and seek guidance from management.
